Originally scheduled for 8-14 August 2020, the Breakout Series was postponed on 29 July and again on January 3 due to the situation in NSW with Covid-19 at those times. The event has now been rescheduled for August 2021 (dates to be confirmed). It will include a series of coastal races between Sydney and Newcastle and conclude in Port Stephens.

The MHYC Women's Regatta will be held on Saturday 10 May 2025.
The Open Keelboat divisions will be contested by yachts with all female crews and mixed crews with a female helm. One Design divisions for mixed crews with a female helm are available for Melges 20, Adams 10, Yngling, J/24, J/70 and Elliott 7 classes with a minimum of four entries.
Commencing at 11am, two short windward-leeward races will be followed by a passage race starting at 1.30pm. Sailing will be conducted on the waters of Sydney Harbour and The Sound.
Join us back at MHYC after racing for some music, nibbles and the presentation of prizes. The regatta is hosted and organised by the Middle Harbour Yacht Club (MHYC) which is located at 75 Lower Parriwi Road, The Spit, Mosman NSW 2008.

The Zhik Womens Sprints will be held on Sunday 3 November 2024.
The regatta offers a series of short races with a round robin and final series in Melges 20 lightweight sportsboats.
Provided one-design equipment will enable a more diverse group of women to participate and the short course racing format will be more exciting and engaging.
An afternoon of training on Saturday 2 November is also included in the entry fee.

Notice to Competitors 2023-12-3-1 Change to Adams 10 Sailing Instructions
The 2023-2024 Adams 10 NSW Championship will be sailed at Middle Harbour Yacht Club (MHYC) on 2-3 December 2023.
The Adams 10 is an outstanding boat to race. Suitable for one design and IRC/ORC racing, it is also a perfect twilight or club racing boat. The design was conceived as a one design yacht suitable for harbour and ocean racing as well as family cruising.
