About the ASX Refinitiv Charity Foundation
ASX Refinitiv Charity Foundation welcomes entries into the Annual Financial Markets & Media Charity Regatta to be hosted by the Middle Harbour Yacht Club. The purpose of the event is to raise over $100,000 for Australian Based Children’s and Medical Research charities. This will be added to the $1 million we are targeting to raise from our annual charity golf day.
Some charities we supported this year include The Pyjama Foundation, Sunnyfield, Neuroscience Research Australia, Making Waves Foundation and many more.
We are seeking the donation of as many yachts – with a skipper and one crew if possible. Each of these yachts will be ‘sold’ to corporate sponsors for the day to raise funds for the charities. The corporate sponsors will help crew and race the yachts.
We have already secured a good number of corporate sponsors who will need a yacht, so we need to start making arrangements now.
In the first instance please fill out the attached yacht donation form and send to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. / Tel: 0408 870 161
The regatta web site is asxrefinitivcharity.com.au
If you are able to support us we would be wholeheartedly grateful!!

Giant Steps Autism Regatta
Friday 15 November 2024

INVITATION TO RACE
Register in this year’s Giant Steps Autism Sailing Regatta on Friday 15 November 2024 and help a child with autism. Donated yachts are needed to ensure Giant Steps Sydney, a charity for children with autism, does not have to spend precious funds chartering yachts for their annual sailing regatta fundraiser.
The Giant Steps Autism Sailing Regatta will be held at Middle Harbour Yacht Club and has become an annual event that provides companies with the perfect opportunity to 'team build' and network on Sydney Harbour in support of children with autism.
Participation in the event sees competitors boarding a yacht with a skipper, enjoying a picnic lunch and participating in this social race on Sydney Harbour. There are no entry fees for donated yachts and skippers are invited to join in post race drinks and a barbeque dinner on the foreshore of the Middle Harbour Yacht Club free of charge.
This is a wonderful opportunity for yacht owners enjoy a Friday afternoon sail on Sydney Harbour and make a difference to children with autism.
