The Leading Edge is a 5 week series, Club House Start and Finish, Warning Signal from 1220hrs. The Leading Edge Series commences on Saturday 23rd July, 2011.  Click here for more information and to enter.

Sydney City Marine Winter Series Race 9 Report

Well Hughie is back from holidays and finally we had enough wind to complete a full course. It turns out he was only practicing for Sunday. Sunday was the last race in the CYCA Winter Series. To quote from the sailing manager.......

Sydney City Marine Winter Series Race 10 Final Race

The final race of the Sydney City Marine Winter Series will be this Saturday 16th July, 2011.  Post race presentation.

A reminder that farewell drinks for Brendan Rourke, Sailing Manager, will be after the racing presentation this Saturday.  All welcome!

Expiration of Special Regulation Equipment Compliance

Please note ALL Special Regulation Equipment Compliance (Safety Certificates) expire on 30 June 2011. 

Boats entered or entering the Sydney to Gold Coast Race and or Hamilton Island Race Week should contact the Sailing Office ASAP to arrange your audits.
Competitors entered in the Wednesday Series (4) and Sydney City Marine Winter Series do not require a new audit until the completion of these series.

The Annual Skippers Briefing and Get Set Weekend will be held, Friday 26 – 28 August, 2011. All boats intending to compete shall attend the Skipper Briefing or a representative of the boat.
 

2011-12 Special Regulation Forms are available from the foyer of the Club House or online, www.mhyc.com.au.

Kid's Disco & Karaoke

The monthly Kid's Disco and Karaoke is on tomorrow night, Friday 15th July, 2011, from 6pm - 8pm.  $10 per child (includes a drink & snack).

Jazz at the Club 

The next Jazz Lunch will be held on Friday 29th July, from 12.30pm, in the Upperdeck. $10 per person entry. Special lunch menu available $12 - $15 per person.  

Sunday Roast at MHYC

Sailing Clinic - Marine Rescue

MHYC's next Sailing Clinic will have a guest speaker, Simon Denneen, from Marine Rescue who is responsible for the development of the MR NSW State-wide Communications network. He will be discussing the many aspects of coastal radio and the services of Marine Rescue.

Seniors Luncheon - Sunday 24th July

Only a few seats still available for the 2011 Seniors Luncheon, to be held at MHYC on Sunday 24th July.  The cost is $65 per head.  Invitations have been sent.    Bookings can be made through the office at 9969 1244.
