Reciprocal Yacht Clubs
MHYC
Middle Harbour Yacht Club (MHYC), located on the beautiful Sydney Harbour waters on the northern side of Middle Head at the Spit, Mosman it is just some 7 kilometres north of Sydney's CBD. With a Membership of 1500, MHYC is one of Australia's most prolific Yacht Clubs and has been in operation for over 75 years.
The club boasts a comprehensive calendar of events that sees action on and off the water taking place virtually every day and evening of the year. There is both formal and informal dining, with spectacular views of the Middle Harbour area of Sydney Harbour.
Visitors, if you live 5km from the club you can sign yourself in as a temporary member. If you live within 5km of the club you must be signed in by a member.
Reciprocal Membership
MHYC has established reciprocal rights and invitations to visit with many Australian and overseas clubs. Unfortunately the complete list was destroyed with the fire, so we are now trying to re-establish this list. If you have any additions, please send details to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
Reciprocal rights mean that any financial member of MHYC is invited to make use of the facilities of any of those clubs with whom we have negotiated such rights. It also means that member of those same clubs have similar rights to use our facilities. Other clubs have issued an invitation to visit their club. MHYC can supply a letter of introduction if so required.
