Dear Fellow Members,

As indicated in our annual report, the Club has been undertaking commercial negotiations to terminate the food and beverage management contract held by Compass/ALH Group. We have now agreed that Compass will cease operating at the Club, with their last services being provided on Sunday 21 August 2011.

The Club will then resume full control of the food and beverage operation.  We anticipate this will be for a limited period of time until new arrangements are ready for implementation.

From Wednesday 23 August the new operating hours of our various F&B outlets will be;

SANDBAR

Wednesday 8am - 2pm, Saturday 8am - 2pm and Sunday 8am - 2pm

MAIN BAR

Wednesday 12noon - 6pm, Friday 12noon - 10pm, Saturday 12noon - 10pm and Sunday 12noon - 6pm

SEABREEZE

Wednesday 12noon - 5pm, Friday 12noon - 9pm, Saturday 12noon - 9pm and Sunday 12noon - 9pm

FUNCTIONS

Function services will continue to be provided on a business as usual basis.

Despite the departure of Compass/ ALH Group you will recognise familiar faces staffing the various outlets. Also, our Land Operations Manager, Scott Saunders has a strong background and experience in F&B operations.  So I am confident with these changes in place you will continue to enjoy a quality food and beverage service at very reasonable prices.  Please contact the office, your flag officers or any of the directors should you have any questions about these new arrangements.
