Thank you to our Race Management team and volunteers for all their efforts over the weekend to help make the Audi Sydney Harbour Regatta such a great success.
Note to members: Seabreeze will be open for Birthday dinner vouchers to be redeemed tomorrow night, Friday 11th March. It will be closed on Saturday 12th March for dinner, due to a private function. The Quarterdeck will be open to Members.

Wild Oats Thursday Twilight - Race 20- tonight
1750 Warning Signal. Family and friends are invited to participate. Live entertainment from 7:30pm with "Shooting the Breeze".
Please note: the Race Timing Board is not operational tonight. A warning signal will be sound at 1750 hours, followed by the Race Start signal at 1800 hours. Competitors are advised to set their timing devices to these sound signals or by dialling 1194 for Telstra Timing Clock.

March Madness Cup - Saturday 12th March
Club House Start and Finish from 1230pm, the March Madness Cup will take you on a journey around Sydney Harbour and return to MHYC.

St Patrick's Day at MHYC
Seabreeze will be open on St Patrick's Day, Thursday 17th March, for lunch. A special menu including Irish Hotpot and Lamb Shanks will be available, and Guiness beer.

MHYC Yacht Mentoring Program
In the MHYC Members Survey, there were comments that skippers were looking for experienced crew and this program is a way of making crew experienced. This plan was one of the key issues in the Sailing Strategy Plan. The plan aims to improve the boat handling, sail trimming and general racing skills of crews sailing with MHYC via a mentoring program.

2011 PIF Regatta
Notice to Members - The Marina and t-heads are fully occupied during the PIF Regatta. No berthing after the Twilight race on 24th March will be available. Temporary moorings are available - please contact Alister in the Marina office.
The Annual Property Industry Regatta is on 25 March 2011, an Invitation is extended to MHYC boat owners to compete. The event raises funds to help homeless children, PIF would very much like yacht owners to donate their yachts for this charity day. If you would like PIF to source a company for you they are more than happy to do this.

MHYC Rack Room/AST Room
Building works on the Rack Room and Australian Sailing Team Room will commence next week. Alister Copley will be contacting all members who have rack room holders. This weekend is the only opportunity to remove any unauthorised material in the rack room. Please contact Alister if you have any queries.
