The Property Industry Foundation Charity Regatta, held last Friday, was, once again, a huge success! Racing was abandoned due to strong winds and the party brought forward - nothing dampened the spirits and generosity of all who attended, and the rain stayed away long enough for the beach party to go ahead! Many thanks to all who supported the 2017 PIF Regatta.
Next Thursday, 30th March, is the final race of the Twilight Series for 2016/17 season and is HAWAIIAN NIGHT! Grab your favourite hawaiian shirt and join us at the Club after racing to celebrate (or commiserate!) the end of the twilight season for another year. Weather dependant, this will be held on the beach with a special menu & exciting entertainment for the evening!

Race 4 of Series 3 for the 2016-17 season, will be held today Wednesday 22nd March, 2017. Please be aware that the handicaps are count up starting from 1330 hours.

Thursday Twilight Series - Race 22, 23rd March, 2017
The Thursday Twilight series continues with Race 22 on 23rd March, 2017, with a count up handicap start from 6pm. Post racing presentation and the Bistro open for a meal - get the crew together, support the Club and celebrate after the race! To book a table at the Bistro, call 9969 1244 and book in your Boat name!

Membership Committee Members Wanted
The membership committee is responsible for developing membership benefits, the club building maintenance, and sponsorship . The club is developing new plans and directions for the benefit of members. Membership vitality is essential to the clubs future. Farwell & Best Wishes to Martin Pryor
Redlands School Cremorne, last night, farewelled Martin Pryor, Sailing Administrator, at their annual sailing prize presentation at the Club. Martin is retiring fom teaching at the school to enjoy some downtime with his family! We wish him all the best in his retirement and thank him for all his support, passion and experience in developing and advancing the Youth Sailing program within Redlands to where it is today. Good luck & best wishes from all at MHYC, Martin!

Sunday Sounds with Rebecca Henry - Sunday 26th March 2017 1pm - 4pm
Join us at the Sandbar on Sunday 26 March from 1-4pm for some cruisy tunes with singer/songwriter Rebecca Henry. Rebecca is a singer songwriter whose style has flavours of rootsy pop, soul and alternative country. Rebecca has supported some of Australian’s top artists, including Rick Price, Darryl Braithwaite, James Reyne, Jon Stevens and Vanessa Amarossi and co-written with great Aussie songwriters such as Rick Grossman (Hoodoo Gurus), Allan Caswell and Don Spencer OAM.
