The Jim Hardy Legends lunch held last Sunday was a great success raising funds to supply a rib for Sailability and the Club Youth Sailing program. Many thanks to Noel Ramsden for his support and organisation of the lunch.
The Financial & Media Market Charity Regatta (ASX Thomson Reuters) will be held at MHYC this Friday 20th November, 2015, with over 60 boats entered, raising funds for children’s, disability and medical research charities. Please be reminded that parking at the Club will be at its maximum as well as a very busy beach and Sandbar deck area during the whole day. The Harbourview Bar & Bistro will operate as normal for lunch and dinner. Yachts berthed on the marina t-heads will be required to vacate Thursday evening following the Twilight race.
Parking has also been disrupted today due to the installation of new fire hydrants. Works are to be completed today.
Entries close this Friday 20th November, 2015, for the Sydney Short Ocean Racing Championship, with a late fee due to those after this date. To enter - click here.
Notice to Members - the Harbourview Bar & Bistro will be closed for dinner on Saturday 21st November, due to a Cala Luna private function being held in the room. The Sandbar Cafe will remain open for the post racing presentation.

Sydney Short Ocean Racing Championship Takes a New Turn - Entries Close Soon
Middle Harbour Yacht Club is broadening the appeal of the 38th Sydney Short Ocean Racing Championship (SSORC), which is sure to boost even more interest in the annual two day event to be held over the weekend of 28 and 29 November.
"We are intending to include a NSW InterClub Challenge in the SSORC and will shortly post an amendment to the Notice of Race,” Ian Box, a Past Commodore of MHYC and Event Chairman announced today.
“Teams of three yachts need to have a combined TCC of no more than 3.50 and the inaugural winners will be decided by the best team result across the SSORC and the Sydney Harbour Regatta in March 2016,” Box said, “but in future years, other Clubs events are expected also to be included.” Read more...

School Holiday Kids Sailing Camps for December & January - Bookings are Now Open
