MHYC Membership Renewals - renew today for the Twilights

Now that the Twilights have started, it is important to make sure your membership is current as you will be checked at the entrance to the Club.  Renew your membership today so you don't have to wait in the queue.  There's never been a better time to be a Member of MHYC.  All aboard for our Diamond Jubilee celebrations for our 75th year!

Adopt a Plank - Last weeks!

Last chance to be a part of the Adopt A Plank project as we finalise the completion of the balcony.  Inscriptions will then be added to the planks.  For the opportunity to have a plank in your name, click here to download the form.
 

Mosman Council Car Parking Stickers for 2013/14  - Available  Online!

Get your car parking permit for the Spit Foreshore areas for the 2013/2014 period, now through to 30th June 2014. MHYC Members can now receive a 50% discounted fee of $140 per sticker.

Marina Extension Update

One more step closer!

The marina extension is progressing well with B & C arm pontoons in place and all electrical services now laid throughout the marina. It is expected that pending Council approval, these berths will be available by the end of the month. All service towers and fire hose reels are now on site to complete the final work on the marina arms.

Wednesday Series 1

Series 1 for the 2013-14 season Race 7 today, Wednesday 16th October, 2013. Please be reminded that the handicaps are count up and also handicap start is now from 1330 hours. Raffle tickets will be selling post race for the fantastic Meat Tray.

Giant Steps Sydney Autism Regatta

The Giant Steps Sydney Autism Regatta will be held this Friday 18th October, 2013, at MHYC. Members are advised to keep all t-heads free to allow visiting yachts to load and unload guests.
Sailing instructions and starting handicaps will be available soon.

Wild Oats Thursday Twilights - 17th October!

Summer is upon us! The Wild Oats Thursday Twilight Series has begun - Race 2 tomorrow Thursday 17th October, 2013. There will be 23 pointscore races in the Series with the final race being on 27th March 2014.

Alex Whitworth to Speak at MHYC Cruising Division -
Monday 21st October

Members are invited to hear Internationally acclaimed sailor, Alex Whitworth, speak at the Cruising Division's Monthly Meeting on Monday night 21st October, in the Main Bar. Alex will be speaking about his Northwest Passage and many of his other adventures.

SAP Regatta for Redkite

The SAP Regatta for Redkite will be held on 1st November, 2013, 1pm start from MHYC. 

Redkite supports the families of children and young people (up to 24yo) who are going through the cancer journey. From financial support to counselling, Redkite is a national charity that unfortunately does not receive any government funding and as such our efforts are crucial to Redkite continuing their support. Every boat entered (obviously entry cost covered) supports an entire family through their cancer journey for a whole year. www.redkite.org.au.
