Farewell to Fonz
Members are advised that Ian (Fonz) Alfonso’s ashes will be spread off Grotto Point on Wednesday 25th September 2013 from Hugh George, followed by a drink back at the Harbourview Bar, MHYC.
Any members wishing to be present at the spreading of Fonz’s ashes please contact Scott Saunders so transport can be arranged.

 Flare Practice Report
The Cruising Division held their annual Flare Practice on Monday evening 16 September, in strong winds and rain – adding a sense of realism. Seven intrepid members took part on the beach in front of the club, while many more watched from the comfort (and dryness) of the balcony. One notable non-attender was the fire brigade who have arrived complete with lights and sirens in previous years – although the water police did call before to ask if we were still going ahead.
