 Junior Sailing Sails Ahead
For those of you who venture to the Club on Sundays – even in the midst of Winter – and have witnessed the ever increasing number of kids in Optimists & 420’s in school sailing programs through the weekdays – I am sure you will have marveled at all of the activity on the beach & on the water, and reflected on what a great sight this is – and what a great activity this is for both the kids and the Club – and hopefully for their parents as well.

 Mosman Council Car Parking Stickers for 2013/14 Now Available - 60 stickers already purchased in the 2nd week!
We are pleased to advise that Mosman Council has adopted the proposed fee for car parking in the Spit Foreshore areas for the 2013/2014 period, beginning 1st July 2013 through to 30th June 2014. MHYC Members can now receive a 50% discounted fee of $140 per sticker. This will only apply once 100 people have taken up the offer with payment being made online through MHYC. To allow Mosman Council plenty of time to print the stickers, we would greatly appreciate Members who are thinking of purchasing a sticker, to do so as soon as possible so that we can reach our 100 target, and send off to Council.
 Adopt A Plank - Final Stage
Help the Club complete the balcony. Adopt a plank for a cost of $100. Your plank will then have your desired name inscribed on the plank. This is every Member's opportunity to not only help the Club, but also to be part of the Club's ongoing legacy. Adopting a plank is easy. Simply complete the form and hand it into reception.

Annual General Meeting
The Annual General Meeting will be held on Friday 19th July, 2013, from 7.00pm, in the Harbourview Room of Middle Harbour Yacht Club. All welcome. Voting Members only eligilbe to vote.

Series 4 for the 2012-13 season, race 3 for the Series today, Wednesday 19th June, 2013. Entries are open online - click here. Please be reminded that the handicaps are count up and also handicap start is now from 1300 hours. Raffle tickets will be selling post race for the fantastic Meat Tray.
 Sydney City Marine Winter Series
Race 6 of Middle Harbour Yacht Club’s Sydney City Marine Winter Series will be held this Saturday 22nd June, 2013.

Get "Checked" Weekend
The MHYC Get "Checked" Weekend last weekend was a huge success. Over the two days the MHYC team audited the following:
Cat 7 – 34 boats
Cat 5 – 1 boat
Cat 4 – 8 boats
Cat 3 – 4 boats
Cat 2 – 4 boats
Cat 1 – 1 boat
The weekend prior, the Cruising Division audited approx. 8 or 10 more – a total of 60+ boats at MHYC. This is a great result. Thank you to all our Auditors who put in their valuable time, particularly those from the Cruising Division that were last to leave after conducting the bigger audits each afternoon.
 Fire Extinguisher Servicing
MHYC has organised Graeme Sedgeman of Sedgman Fire to be at the Club to service Member's fire extinguishers. The dates and times are as follows:-

Saturday 31st August 8am - 2pm
Saturday 21st September 8am - 2pm
