 Mosman Council Car Parking 2013/2014
As mentioned in the E News last month, we are pleased to advise that Mosman Council has agreed for MHYC to offer Members a reduced fee for car parking in the Spit Foreshore areas for the 2013/2014 period, beginning 1st July 2013 through to 30th June 2014. A 50% discounted fee will only apply once 100 people have taken up the offer with payment being made online through MHYC. We are awaiting the approval of Mosman Council's budget for the 2013/2014 year, which goes to the June Council Meeting for adjustments and approval, to determine what the fee will be. Members will be advised when this becomes available and when we will open the online payments.

Series 3 for the 2012-13 season, race 9 today, Wednesday 1st May, 2013. Entries are open online - click here. Please be reminded that the handicaps are count up and also handicap start is now from 1300 hours. Back by popular demand - Raffle tickets will be selling post race for a Meat Tray.
Sydney City Marine Winter Series
This Saturday, 4th May, 2013, sees the start of Middle Harbour Yacht Club’s Sydney City Marine Winter Series – a 10-race series from 4 May to 20 July with a break on 8 and 15 June.
Racing takes place in the North Harbour area and there are a variety of courses to suit the conditions, using YA and laid marks, and there are spinnaker and non-spinnaker divisions.

 Anzac Day Two Up Cup Results
MHYC's Anzac Day Two Up Cup was held last week with beautiful weather, light winds and lots of fun, with a game of Two Up (or two!) post racing . The winners for the day were Swish (Steven Proud) for Division 1 and Farr 'N Away (David Lee) for Division 2. Congratulations to all competitors and placegetters. For all results, click here.
Get "Checked" Weekend - 15th & 16th June 2013
With the implementation of the new set of YA Special Regulations (Blue Book) coming to effect from 1st July, 2013, the Sailing Committee has programmed for MHYC to run a Get "Checked" Weekend on Saturday 15th June and Sunday 16th June, 2013. The initiative is to get boats audited under the new Special Regulations (revised every 4 years) in preparation for the major races and regattas in the Winter and Queensland racing season.
