The Melges 32 National Championships will be held at MHYC on 19th, 20th, 21st April 2013.
NoR will be available from the Class Association soon.

Owners Meetings - Save the Date!
MHYC Owners are invited to an annual ‘get-together’ to review the sailing season program and to discuss options for the forthcoming 2013/2014 sailing season. There will be two meetings as follows;
Monday 22nd April: Offshore, Open /IRC owners
Tuesday 23rd April: Inshore Divisions

 MHYC Optimists Take Charge at the NSW Optimist State Championships
On March 23 and 24 the NSW Optimists Association saw close to 160 boats registered for the NSW Optimist State Titles at RPAYC. Both Open and Silver Fleets had around 60 entries and the Green Fleet counted around 40 big smiles. It was the biggest State championship ever recorded so far.

MHYC Crew Member of the Year Award
Presented to an esteemed crew member, displaying the characteristics of a desirable MHYC Member, someone other crew members would aspire to emulate, and nominated from a yacht competing in a Series at MHYC of the Annual Pointscore Program 2012/2013. The Crew Member of the Year will be announced at the Annual Presentation on Saturday 27 April, 2013. Nominations close 1800 hours Saturday 13 April, 2013, 2 weeks prior to Annual Presentation.  2013 Annual Presentation Cocktail Party - Saturday 27th April 2013
The 2013 Annual Presentation Cocktail Party will be held at MHYC on Saturday 27th April, 2013, from 6.00pm for a 6.30pm start. Awards will be presented for all Club divisions in the Annual & Twilight series for the 2012/13 sailing season. An complimentary arrival drink and canapés will be served. $40 per person. Live entertainment with DJ will follow the presentation.

Could you spend a day a month (or half a day) volunteering to help maintain your Club? Its reached an age where a bit more maintenance is needed, just like the writer. Some volunteers spend more time and that's wonderful for those who can.
