 Leading Edge Series
The Leading Edge Series has commenced and continues through to this Saturday 18th August, 2012, for the final race and presentation. Competition commences at 1230hrs, count up pursuit racing. Clubhouse start. Spinnaker and Non-Spinnaker Series and casual entries are welcome.

Annual Skippers Briefing & Get Set Weekend
Middle Harbour Yacht Club’s annual weekend in August to prepare for the coming season, will commence with the ‘Annual Skippers Briefing’ on Friday 24th August, when the Club will hold a mandatory and Roads & Maritime Services Briefing. Come along to be in the draw for a lucky door prize from Sydney Ports Coporation - a 2 hour experience for 5 people on an emergency tug!

Sound Championships at MHYC
The Sound Championships will be held on Sunday 26th August, 2012, at MHYC for the Optimists and 420's. The format will be 6 short sprint style races, with a presentation and BBQ at the end of the day. The first warning signal will be at 1130hrs with registration from 0830 - 1000.

 Sailing Clinic - Basic Crewing
Our next Sailing Clinic will be with guest speaker, Andy Fairclough, from Flying Fish, talking about the basics of crewing. If you want to know more about the positions on a boat, what they do and how you can become more involved when crewing, then this is the clinic for you!

Club Race Officers Course - 27th October
Bookings are now open to Members interested in becoming Club Race Officers. This course is run by Yachting NSW for member clubs to deliver the National Officiating Program.
The aim of the course is to train members to the standard of a Club Race Officer, which will assist the you to run racing at your club and/ or work with a more experienced race management team at larger events.
Presenters for the course are Jeremy Atkinson and Phil Yeomans.
The course is scheduled for the 27th October, 2012, 9.30am-5.00pm
