Leading Edge Series
The Leading Edge Series will commence on Saturday 21st July, 2012, and continue though to Saturday 18th August, 2012. Competition commences at 1230hrs, count up pursuit racing. Clubhouse start. Spinnaker and Non-Spinnaker Series and casual entries are welcome.

 MHYC Young Guns Shine in QLD
Middle Harbour Yacht Club sent a team of 18 sailors to the Queensland Youth Week which had over 150 sailors from all around the East Coast of Australia competing in 10 classes. MHYC were competing in both the Optimist and 420 classes with the youngest of the team leading the way forward.

 Thursday Twilight Sailing Survey - closes Saturday 14th July
We are running a survey regarding Thursday Twilight Sailing, not only to help improve next year’s series, but also to listen to you (our Members) and help understand what type of sailing/activities you enjoy.
In addition, we are thinking of introducing a new Twilight series on Tuesday night and would like to gauge your interest to assist with our planning.
We are also interested in the viewpoint of your crew (whether from MHYC or other clubs), so we would greatly appreciate it if you could forward the online survey to your crew.

YA Special Regs Equipment Audits 2012/13
Yacht owners are reminded that current Special Regs Audit forms expired on 30 June 2012. The Get Set Weekend will be held as scheduled on 25/26 August in preparation for the 2012/2013 season, but those wishing to enter the Winter Series for the first time after 1 July, all Leading Edge entrants, and those planning to enter other events between July and September will need new Cat 7 or above certification in order to compete.

Bookings are now open to Members interested in becoming Club Race Officers. The course is scheduled for the 27th October, 2012, 9.30am-5.00pm, with presenter, Jeremy Atkinson and Phil Yeomans.
