Max 2nd in Tasmanian Opti State Titles
MHYC Junior Sailor Max Paul finished 2nd in the Tasmanian Optimist states on the weekend. Talented local sailor Hugo Hamilton won the regatta, sailing particularly well in the light wind races. They sailed in mixed conditions that ranged from very light breezes to 24 knots.
Max is looking forward to competing locally at the Optimist NSW states held at MHYC on March 31st to April 1st.
Barefoot Ball 2012 - Tickets on Sale Now!
It's on again! The 2012 Barefoot Ball will be held on Friday 30th March 2012, featuring 10 piece band, the "Enormous Horns". Come along and join in the fun.

Spit Bridge Upgrade - Closure Update
MHYC in conjunction with Roads & Maritime Services (NSW Maritime) have laid down a number of temporary moorings in the vicinity of the Pumphouse and Chinamans Beach to service yachting in the main harbour during the Spit Bridge Closure.

Due to the Sydney Harbour Regatta, there will be no Twilight Race tomorrow. Race 21 will be on Thursday 15th March with the final race and Twilight Presentaion being held on Thursday 22nd March, 2012.
