2026 Prizegiving and Awards Night
A wonderful keelboat prizegiving and awards night for season 2025-2026 concluded on Saturday 2nd May with the Tig Thomas Trophy being awarded to Gordon Ketelbey.
The Special Award recipients were:
- R.B. Cooper Perpetual Award for Voluntary Service - Rob Armstrong
- Flag Officers Participants Award - Wailea (Neil Padden)
- MHYC Crew Member of the Year Award – Bill King (Toy Box 2)
- Norman G. Booth Trophy – John Crawford (Innamincka)
- Jules Trophy for MHYC Yachtswoman of the Year - Rhoslyn Humphreys
- Tig Thomas Distinction Trophy – Gordon Ketelbey (Zen)
Cruising Division awards were:
- Yaffe Trophy - Sanna and Niclas Westling (Rara)
- Navigator's Trophy - Richard Freeborn and Alexandra Blakeman-Lively (Hawkeye)
