MHYC Squads
MHYC Squads will be in training mode again this week with the 420s training with Marta, and the Optimists training with club coaches Locky and Connor. The Following week we will have another race day for all classes. This again will be for all MHYC members and will have coaching on water for all competitors.
Thank you must go out to all the parents that helped with the Racing over the weekend. From all reports it went smoothly with only minor issues which mainly involved the wind.
Racing will be up and running on the 10th again and will need parents to help run the racing. If you are available can you please let Locky Know asap.

Spit to the Zoo Challenge 2014 - Sat 16th August
Race 11 of the Paddle NSW 2014 Harbour Series will be held from MHYC on Saturday 16th August, 2014, with the race starting at 8.30am. The challenge will consist of a 16km long course or 8km short course - surf skis, spec skis, SUP's, outirggers and sea kayaks welcome. Registration from 7am.

Commodore’s Ball – Celebrate in Style - Friday 12th September, 2014
Preparations are well underway for MHYC's Commodore’s Ball to be held on Friday 12th September 2014 from 7pm. A great celebration of the Club’s proud 75 years of sailing and marine activities and the outstanding achievements by its Members. Due to expected numbers, we will be holding the Ball at Orso Function Centre, with canapes and drinks at the Club prior. Live entertainemnt with Jellybean Jam. Dress: Black tie. Cost: $160 per head. Numbers are limited so get your table together early for when bookings open.
Wine Tasting at MHYC - Friday 8th August
On Friday 8th August, 2014, from 6pm to 8pm, MHYC will host a wine tasting of hand selected premium wines. Enjoy the character recognised Australian wine regions including the Barossa SA, Great Southern WA and the Pyrenees in Victoria. There will also be some international wines from Mendoza Argentina, Marlborough NZ and Central Otago NZ. Please see if you can make time to join us.

Flying Fish at MHYC - news for members
From 1st July 2013 Flying Fish will offer a 10% discount to MHYC members who book courses, lessons or hire equipment.
Fish yachts can be chartered bareboat (subject qualifications) or with a skipper. Why not get a group together and get out on the water and experience the magic. Read more....
