Notice to Members
Members will be aware that ALH have been our food and beverage contractor since 1 July 2009. The board have been concerned about a number of aspects of the performance of ALH, most notably their inability to generate the level of functions bookings required to make the business model work for the club.
As a consequence we have today given notice of termination to ALH, which will become effective no later than 60 days hence. A large part of our review has necessarily focussed on our strategy post ALH and we are in advanced discussions with a number of potential business partners. These are not yet concluded and so we have put in place transitional arrangements so that the club can continue to provide food and beverage services to members, and to our functions clients, during the changeover period.
We will ensure members are advised as soon as a new contractor is selected and we will provide further information at that time. In the meantime any questions should be directed to Scott Saunders.
