AST Rackroom Update
The new rackroom/AST office works have progressed very quickly with a finish date towards the end of next month.
All sails to go to sail makers have been stored inside the container on the right side of the driveway while the new sail repair storage is being built. Access to this container is via the normal sail locker key.
A significant amount of unclaimed sails have been found in the rackroom most with numbers, however many without. Sails with MHYC numbers will be kept and owners attempted to be contacted if part of MHYC. Sails without number will not be stored at MHYC and will be removed after this weekend. Please see the marina assistants if you believe one of these sails belongs to you.
If there are any questions please see the Dockmasters - Chris or Anthony on Friday, Saturday or Sunday.

Marina Extension - DA at Council
MHYC has submitted its Development Application to council for the Marina Extension. The proposal is for an additional 28 berth on B, C and D Arms only. A separate sub committee working under the marina committee is overseeing the project which is being chaired by Tony Bates (Past Chairman).
This exciting development will raise the number of berths in the MHYC Marina to 101, however we will see the reallocation of some of the moorings to other locations.
Timing for the project is based on council approval process and having sufficient funding in place to pay for the construction and commissioning phase.
Full details of the proposal are with Alister Copley – Head of Marine Operations for members wishing to view the complete proposal.
