YACHT SALES AUSTRALIA WEDNESDAY SERIES
Race 7 of the Wednesday Yacht Sales Australia Non-Spinnaker Race saw 21 boats heading off down the harbour. Advanced Philosophy ( Peter Sorensen) was 1st home in division 1 ahead of Lazy Dog ( Shaun Lane) in 2nd and Austmark ( Gunther Schmidtlindner ) in 3rd place. Visiting boat Twocan ( Steve Teudt ) took the honours in Division 2 ahead of Innamincka ( John Crawford ) in 2nd and Perception ( Charles Caskey ) 3rd.

MIDDLE HARBOUR YACHT CLUB ANNUAL PRESENTATION EVENING
The Clubs Annual Presentation Evening will be held on Saturday 11th May, 2019.
Awards will be presented for all Club divisions in the Annual Pointscore & Twilight series (1st, 2nd & 3rd) for the 2018/19 sailing season.
$35 per head
(inc. arrival drink & finger food)
6.30pm for a 7pm start

MHYC WOMENS REGATTA - SATURDAY 4TH MAY
Entries for the 2019 Middle Harbour Yacht Club Women's Regatta are now open!
The Open Keelboat divisions will be contested by yachts with all female crews and mixed crews with a female helm. One Design divisions for mixed crews with a female helm are available for Adams 10, Melges 20, Yngling, J24 and Elliott 7 classes with a minimum of 3 entries. Join us back at MHYC after racing for live music, prize giving and a pamper station with the SmoothFM Angels!

PINK BALL ON THE BEACH
In benefit of the McGrath Foundation, the Kayimai Women's Sailing Team invite you to join them for fun and cocktails at the Pink Ball On the Beach on Friday 10th May.
TWO UP CUP SUCCESS
Sydney put on the sunsine for the ANZAC Day 2 Up Cup. The breeze filled in nicely to provide a lovely spinnaer run down middle harbour to the finish line. A solid fleet of 30 boats participated in the popular event including 12 Jeanneanu’s for the final race of the Jeanneau Cup Series.
First over the line in division 1 was Little Nico with Adrian Walters at the helm followed by Tempo ( Michale Smith ) and Advanced Philosophy Peter Sorenson ) in 3rd.
In division 2 Michale Twomey got the gun on his Sydney 36 cruiser Pearl 2 with Perception ( Charles Caskey ) in 2nd and Mortgagae Choice Rumba ( Kerry Burke) in 3rd.
In the Jeanneau Cup, visiting boat Macscap skippered by Peter McClelland came in 1st place followed by Pinta Bay ( Frank Milner) in 2nd and Aurora II (Marcus Gillezeau). In the overall Jeanneau Cup Series Scott Lawson on StarStruck was the clear winner with Macscap (Peter McClelland) in 2nd place and Pinta Bay (Frank Milner ) in 3rd.
CRUISING DIVISION MAY MEETING
The Cruising Divisions May meeting will be held on Monday 20th May at 8pm in the Harbourview room.
Grahan Nickisson who recently retired after spending 38 years in the Westpac recuse helicopter service as an aircrew officer. Graham will recount the highs and lows, the disasters including challenging marine rescues, remember the Pasha Bulker.
