Yacht Sales Australia Wednesday Series
A sunny day with fluctuating winds saw a fleet of 16 boats lined up for the fifth race of the Wednesday Yacht Sales Australia Non -Spinnaker Pointscore.
In Division 1, Steve Proud's Swish took out 1st place, ahead of Peter Sorensen on Philosophers, followed by Tony Levett's TSA Management.
Division 2 winner, Paul Saunders on Let Loose, was closely followed by Brian Lees on Contentious in second and Neil Padden on Wailea in third.
Division 2 would have seen John Crawford's Innamincka in first place however, jumping the start by almost a minute meant after the penaly they only saw fourth place.

MHYC Membership Renewals
Membership renewals have been sent out via email.
Please also note that membership prices have been increased slightly this year and this will be reflected on your renewal statements.
Don't forget if you renew before 31st July 2018 you will go in the draw to win 3 nights accomodation for 2 people on Hamilton Island!
All Annual and Monthly DDS members will have their renewal invoices sent next week and will automatically go in the draw to win the Hamilton Island Getaway!

Mosman Parking Permits
The 50% discount for Mosman Parking Permits have now closed. If you registered for one of these permits, we are expecting them to arrive within the next 7 working days. You will be advised via e-news, the clubs website and the clubs notice board as to when they are ready for collection.
If you missed out on registering we are gathering a waitlist of members who would like to apply. There will need to be 30 applicants in order for you to recieve a 30% discount on the full price of the permit.

Electronic Voting and AGM
The 79th Annual General Meeting of Members of Middle Harbour Yacht Club will be held in the
Clubhouse, Lower Parriwi Rd, The Spit, Mosman, NSW 2088 on
Thursday 19th July 2018
at 7:00 pm in the Harbourview Room.
In accordance with the MHYC Constitution, the Board has approved electronic voting for 2018/19 Elections.
TrueVote will send an email to all eligible voting members with instructions on how to vote
Voting is now open and will and close at 11.30 pm on Friday 13th July 2018.
Any member without an email address, will be sent a postal vote.

WHF Radio Operators Course
VHF RADIO OPERATORS COURSE AT MHYC WITH FLYING FISH
Flying Fish will be running a Short Range Officer Certificate of Proficiency (SROCP) VHF Radio course
at MHYC over 2 nights in August.

- Bring a passport photo for inclusion in your licence when issued.

The applicable handbook online is the Marine VHF Radio Operators Handbook.

Get Checked Day - Sunday 26 August 2018
MHYC holds annual Get Checked Days for Equipment Audits, which allows Club Members the perfect opportunity to have their boats audited prior to the new sailing season commencing, free of charge. For PFD checks contact Matt Pyne at the Marina Office or email matt@mhyc.com.au. This year’s audit dates are June 16th and 26th August.
Bookings for an equipment audit are to be arranged directly through the MHYC Sailing Office by emailing sailing@mhyc.com.au or calling 896931903.
CMS Consulting will be here on the day to check fire extinguishers or purchase a new one at very reasonable rates.
