Welcome to Middle Harbour Yacht Club E Newsletter.  A huge thank you to Phil Clinton for organising the Meet and Greet night for crew and skippers last Friday night.  It was a great success with over 40 people attending giving skippers a chance to meet potential crew.

Please be reminded that the painted parking spaces at the Middle Harbour Amateur Sailing Club are reserved for members of the MHASC only.  MHYC Members and their guests are asked not to park in these spaces.

Thank you to MHYC members who have offered their berths to accommodate the visiting Farr 40's this weekend.

Audi Sydney Harbour Regatta 2011 - Entries are Now Open

The 2011 Audi Sydney Harbour Regatta promises to be another year of competitive racing for all fleets and classes on Sydney Harbour and offshore for IRC rated windward/leeward racing and selected one-design classes. Shore-side the Regatta will be complimented by an exciting line-up of live entertainment, beach parties, beach barbeques, daily regatta highlights on the marina LED screen and more.

Race Management - Farr 40 Sprints Series - this weekend

Race Management Teams required for the Farr 40 OD Sprint Series being hosted by MHYC for this weekend 12th-13th February, including international boats visiting for the World Championships.

Tasks include:
Scribes, mark laying, boat drivers, protest coordination, results, administration

Sailing Clinic - Racing Rules - 23rd February, 2011

Valentine's Day Dinner at the Club -
Monday 14th February 2011

Linda Wood and band will be launching their CD single with a special Valentine's dinner and show, in the Upperdeck.  Tickets from $60 - includes two course meal and free copy of Linda's new song, "Boat and Sail".  Tickets can be purchased from www.lindawood.com.au.

Seabreeze will also be open for dinner on Valentine's Day with a special Valentine's menu prepared by chef, Gary.

Kid's Disco at the Club - Friday 18th February, 2011

The first Kid's Disco for 2011 will be held in the Quarterdeck on Friday 18th February, 2011, from 6.00pm-8.00pm.

Bring the kids along for some fun with Bop Til You Drop.  Cost $10 per child (includes drink and snack).

2011 PIF Regatta

The Annual Property Industry Regatta is on 25 March 2011, an Invitation is extended to MHYC boat owners to compete. The event raises funds to help homeless children, PIF would very much like yacht owners to donate their yachts for this charity day. If you would like PIF to source a company for you they are more than happy to do this.
