MHYC Ocean Pointscore Summary
Australia Day - In the 30 nautical mile passage race to Botany Bay and back for the combined fleets of the MHYC’ s Ocean Pointscore, CYCA's Ocean Pointscore, Grant Thornton Short Haul and Short Ocean Pointscore Series', the people's maxi Brindabella (Jim Cooney) took line honours in a race time of 5hrs, 32m and 18 seconds.
A total of 56 yachts competed in the passage race in tough beating conditions with the fog playing havoc as bowmen tried to keep a watchful lookout for other competing yachts.
It was another beat back home as the breeze filled in from the north meaning that several yachts failed to finish before the 2000hrs time limit.

PIF would love to have you on board for the 2011 Property Industry Foundation’s Charity Yachting Regatta. Please contact Peta Gorman on peta@pif.com.au or visiting the PIF website http://www.pif.com.au/
