Staff Announcement
As everyone knows, Finance Manager Helen Jackson left us last week after nearly 13 years to take on a new role at Monash Country Club. We had a lovely farewell for her along with all the Wednesday afternoon sailors to wish her good luck in her next exciting chapter of her career.
The good news is that we have been busy recruiting for a replacement and have fortunately been successful in appointing Bruce Aitken to the role who will be starting on Tuesday 6th June. Bruce has a very impressive background in financial management roles and most recently at Elanora Country Club. We look forward to welcoming Bruce to our small and hard-working team and most importantly, getting to meet all of our wonderful Members!
With Roger Wragby’s departure, we will soon be looking for a replacement to assist David Staley in his Sailing Manager role. This new position will have a broader range of responsibilities involving both our Keelboat and Centreboard/Dinghy sailing programs. If you know anyone who might be interested, let David know.
