Melges 20 Success
The first 4 months of the Melges 20 experiment, whereby the boats are being lent out to club members to race on Saturdays, has been a definite success. The boats are now being raced on a regular basis and quite a large pool of interested crew has been established. So if you’re thinking about having a go, get in touch with Nicky Bethwaite and lock in a date in the New Year. Saturday racing will resume on 28 January with the Chaos & Bedlam Point Cups.

Sailability Middle Harbour at MHYC
Meet Cameron – a young stroke victim, wheelchair bound, he has been sailing with Sailability Middle Harbour for many years. New to sailing, on light days he helms his Access dinghy but on heavy days he is crew.
“I like coming to MHYC, all the people are friendly and sailing is a good thing to do on a Sunday as it gets you out of the house and on the water”.
We sail in the mornings of the 2nd and last Sundays of the month – come join our volunteers and let Cameron take you out!
