Welcome to Middle Harbour Yacht Club's E-Newsletter
After a very busy and successful ASX Thomson Reuters Charity Regatta last Friday, the Club is now gearing up for this weekend's Sydney Short Ocean Racing Championship. If you are not competing, come down to the Club for the live entertainment and food each afternoon. The Sydney Groove Band will be playing on Saturday from 4pm and Sunday Sounds with Di Solomon from 3pm. For all information on SSORC, visit the website here.

Sydney Short Ocean Racing Championship & 7 Islands Race - 26th & 27th November, 2016
The 39th Sydney Short Ocean Racing Championship (SSORC), will be held this weekend 26 and 27 November, 2016. Farr 40's and Super 12's will also be racing inshore on Saturday and joining the SSORC fleet offshore on Sunday.

Thursday Twilight Series - Race 8, 24th November, 2016
The Thursday Twilight series continues with Race 8 tomorrow night, 24th November, 2016, with a count up handicap start from 6pm. Post racing presentation and the Bistro open for a meal or alternatively, enjoy barbeque food from The BBQ Cooking School, downstairs on the beach - get the crew together, support the Club and celebrate after the race! Behind the Scenes with YNSW
As you know, there has been a big shake up on the administrative side of sailing, with all the state associations being absorbed into Australian Sailing. This doesn’t mean the state associations cease to exist and particularly in NSW there are state specific deliverables that need to be monitored for the benefit of NSW sailors. The Board of Yachting NSW has identified a number of issues that are important to the sailors of NSW and are actively engaged in ensuring these continue to be carried out as negotiated.
