MHYC E News 23rd March, 2016
Welcome to Middle Harbour Yacht Club's E-Newsletter.
The International 420 & Cadet Class State Championships were held at MHYC last weekend. Congratulations to 1st placegetters, Zac Nisbet & Jack Hannigan in the Cadet Class and Sophie McIntosh & Emily Summerill, in the 420 Class. Great results for all who competed - congratulations! Many thanks to our Race Management Volunteers, lead by RO Phil Yeomans, for a great regatta. For all results - click here.
Note to Members: The fire hose reels on each arm of the Marina are for emergency use only and not to be used to wash boats down. The Club has recently spent money fixing a hose on D arm that had been used improperly resulting in a build up of water pressure causing it to explode. The loss of water equated to approx $500. Thank you for your future assistance with reducing this expense.
Wishing everyone a safe and happy Easter! Please see further in the newsletter the Opening Hours of the Club over the long weekend.
