Middle Harbour Gosford Challenge - 19th & 20th February, 2016 - Update
The Middle Harbour Gosford Challenge began with a bright and sunny day last Friday. The combined fleet of cruisers and racers were greeted with a building North Easter as they battled Middle Harbour variable breeze. Many shouts of " advice" we're heard from boat to boat, its unclear whether any of it was helpful.
The boats began to clear the heads and it was clear it was to be a close tussle and a fast run to Box Head . The boats that went to sea, LuLu Belle and Bliss, had the best of it beating north and lifting on the 15 knot breeze in glorious conditions. A close battle was unfolding inshore between Bliss, Wee Lassie, Nashira and Aurora 2 . Slac n Off watched on as she cruised North.
