The Club's Christmas Dinner is being held on Friday 11th December, 2015 from 6pm in the Harbourview Bar & Bistro with a 2 course dinner and a drink on arrival included in the price ($48 per person MHYC Members and $53 per person Non Members). Saturday Spring Pointscore - 5th December, 2015
The Spring Pointscore continues on Saturday 5th December, 2015.
Open Race 10 (SOPS) - First warning signal 1200 hours. Racing with CYCA.
For Open Division yachts that are not racing with the CYCA SOPS, are warmly invited to join Division 1 of MHYC's Inshore Spring Pointscore.

Race 1 of Series 2 for the 2015-16 season, being held today Wednesday 2nd December, 2015. Please be reminded that the handicaps are count up starting from 1330 hours.

Christmas Cup & Veterans Cup Saturday 19th December, 2015
The next race in the Feature Event Series is the Christmas Cup and Veterans Cup being held on Saturday 19th December, 2015. A count up handicap start from the Clubhouse from 1230hrs and a course around the harbour. The Christmas Cup is open to all, with spinnaker and non spinnaker divisions.
Yachts that are 30 years old or more will be competing for the “Veterans Cup Perpetual Trophy”. Yachts and skippers who have a combined age of 90+ years can also compete for the “Old Fart’s Dogs Bowl Trophy”, initiated by Alex Whitworth.

Raja Muda Report - Julie Hodder
The Raja Muda Regatta, organised by Royal Selangor Yacht Club in Malaysia, I think is one of the best regattas in the world. The regatta attracted 3 IRC divisions as well as cruising boats and is a challenging tactically with its variable winds and changing tides. This year’s racing was fantastic with good winds and plenty of party activities.

Harbour Navigation Challenge & Raft-up - 5th & 6th December 2015
The exercises will take you to many parts of the Harbour and require you to use some simple navigational techniques to get the answers to a few questions. The current plan is to assemble in Hunters Bay off Balmoral at 11:00 hrs on the Saturday at which time detailed instruction sheets will be passed to each boat.

Kid's Christmas Disco - Friday 18th December, 2015
The last Kid's Disco for 2015 is on Friday 18th December, 2015, from 6pm - 8pm, being held on the Sandbar Deck. ($10 per child (includes a drink & snack). There is also a rumour that there may be an appearance by a special guest!

School Holiday Kids Sailing Camps for December & January - Book Today
The first of MHYC's School Holiday Sailing Camps begins on Monday 14th December through to Thursday 17th December, 2015, followed by the 2nd week from Monday 21st December to Wednesday 23rd December, 2015. Great idea for a Christmas present! The School Holiday Kids Sailing Camps are for Tackers (7 - 12 year olds) and Learn to Sail Teenagers (13-18 year olds).
