MHYC E News 25th November, 2015
Welcome to Middle Harbour Yacht Club's E-Newsletter.
It’s all happening this weekend at MHYC with the Sydney Short Ocean Racing Championship (SSORC) and the 7 Islands Race incorporating the first of the Jeanneau Cup Series. With some 32 yachts entered in the 7 Islands Race, there is plenty of room for more, for the organised “tour” of our wonderful harbour. The afternoon will conclude with a post racing social event and beach party alongside our colleagues from the SSORC series. It’s certainly not too late to enter with the deadline extended until 0900 on Saturday morning. Join us at the Club for live entertainment back at the Club on both days, with party band, Sydney Groove, playing on Saturday from 4pm and Lana Nesnas Duo on Sunday from 3pm as part of the Club's monthly Sunday Sounds.

A unique event, to be staged on Sydney Harbour on Saturday 28 November, the pursuit style race starts and finishes off MHYC, and takes in some of Sydney’s most recognised islands either side of the Harbour Bridge. The yachts will pass Fort Denison to port on the way up and back and take in Goat Cockatoo, Snapper and Spectacle Islands.
