On Water Race Management Assistance Required
MHYC is running Farr 40 Regattas in October, November and December in the build up for the state, national and world championships to be held in early 2016. We will, of course, still be running our regular Saturday sailing program, so as a result we will need more help on-water. Duties include marking off boats competing, helping with flags and signals at the start, and recording finish times. Refreshments and a light lunch are provided and you would need to be here from about 10am to 4pm. There will be experienced race officials on board to guide you, and you will learn some of the intricacies of race management.
If you can help, or know someone reasonably agile who can, please contact the Sailing Office for more details on 9969 1244.
Help is needed especially on Saturdays from 17 October through December, and on Sundays 8 Nov and 13 Dec.
