 MHYC Sailing Handbook - Advertising Space Now Available for 2015/16 Season Edition
There is a limited opportunity to advertise your product or sevice in the MHYC Sailing Handbook, the 2015/16 Season edition of which will be published in August 2015.
MHYC members cover a wide spectrum of professions and interests not only in boating but also in the legal, financial, and property areas among many others.

Mosman Council Spit Foreshore Parking Permits 2015/16
Mosman Council, once again, will be offering a 50% discount to MHYC Members when purchasing an annual 7 day Spit Foreshore Parking Permit (valid for the East and West car parks) for 2015/16. The 50% discount of $170 will only be applicable once 100+ Members have taken up the offer and received by Council as one transaction. Permits can now be purchased online through the MHYC website. Bookings will close on Monday 29th June, 2015, to allow time to be processed and permits issued. Late applications will not receive the 50% discount.

Annual General Meeting - Call for Nominations
MHYC's Annual General Meeting will be held at the Clubhouse on Thursday 16th July, 2015, from 7pm. Call for Nominations for Directors and Flag Officers are now open and in accordance with the constitution of Middle Harbour Yacht Club will close at 5pm on Wednesday 24th June 2015.  NSW East Coast Championships Report
MHYC hosted the NSW East Coast Championships last weekend, seeing over 60 youth sailors competing in Optimists and 420's. Congratulations to all participants for making the weekend such a huge success.

QLD Youth Week - 3rd - 7th July, 2015
Entries for Queensland Youth Week have opened. This is a wonderful opportunity for our Youth sailors to compete in a big regatta. It is a lot of fun and a huge experience for the kids. MHYC would like to be able to send a coach up to support but need to know how many kids are interested in competing. For those interested can you please let Locky know ASAP!

Pampur Regatta, Croatia - Report from MHYC Member Darryl Coombs
'The XV PAMPUR Regatta started in Kastela-Split Croatia, and cruised to the islands of SOLTA, BRAC, HVAR, KORCULA, AND LASTEVO for eight days.
Two races were included during the week with Darryl's Hanse 385, and his four Macedonian crew coming third to a Sun Odessey 54DS, and Hanse 445. There were eleven yachts competing, consisting of Bavaria 40 & 45 Cruisers, Sun Odessey 439 and Hanse 505.
Winds were a waning 'YUGO' from the south, with confused sea conditions, so races were long and tactical.
Apart from the racing, visiting the small villages seemingly hidden on the islands is fascinating, and the local seafood is excellent.

The Boat show is being held at the Sydney Exhibition Centre @ Glebe Island and Cockle Bay Marina, Darling Harbour from Thursday 30th July to Monday 3rd August, 2015, 10am to 8pm Halls and Marina.
