 Waitangi Cup remains in NSW for another year!
After 3 races on a Norwesterly course laid beautifully by Phil Yeomans and his band of volunteers, the MHYC teams of Rock Solid helmed by Mitch Miller (sailing on Kick 'n' Chase) and the composite crew helmed by Geoff Charters (sailing on Rock Solid) comprehensively outsailed, out thought and out fought the Victorians 11 points to 19 to retain the Cup.

QLD Youth Week - 3rd - 7th July, 2015
Entries for Queensland Youth Week have opened. This is a wonderful opportunity for our Youth sailors to compete in a big regatta. It is a lot of fun and huge experience for the kids. MHYC would like to be able to send a coach up to support but need to know how many kids are interested in competing. For those interested can you please let Locky know ASAP!

 Get Checked Weekend - 13th & 14th June, 2015
MHYC's annual Get Checked Weekend and YA special Regulations Audits will be held on the 13th & 14th June, 2015. This weekend allows Club Members the perfect opportunity to have their boats audited prior to the new sailing season commencing. Members are encouraged, each year, to make their own pre-arrangements for services required, as they may be limited during the Get Checked Weekend. 2015 Equipment Auditor Course - 23rd May, 2015
In preparation for the upcoming MHYC Get Checked Weekend (see above), Yachting NSW are holding an Equipment Auditor course on Saturday 23rd May, 2015, at Watson's Bay Pilot Station. This course is for new auditors and upon completion will allow you to assist MHYC Members with their Cat 3-7 equipment audits.
