10th Anniversary Sydney Harbour Regatta - Sailing Instructions Now Available
The Sailing Instructions for the 10th Anniversary of the Sydney Harbour Regatta, to be held on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th March, 2015, are now available on the SHR website. To view List of Entrants - click here
 Shoreside at the Sydney Harbour Regatta
Early birds can enjoy breakfast at the Club when the Sandbar and café open from 8am on both Saturday and Sunday, serving their usual fare including bacon and egg rolls, coffee, tea and more, while the bistro is open for lunch both days for members and those who come to enjoy the more social side of the event.
Post-race, the party atmosphere will have competitors, family and friends kicking back on the Club’s beach. A Burger Bar is open Saturday and the party band, Peppermint Jam, will be in full swing from 4.00pm into the night. On Sunday, a sausage sizzle Sunday will be accompanied by live entertainment with duo, Duke, from 4.00pm on.
Helly Hansen 10th Anniversary Sydney Harbour Regatta merchandise will be available for purchase at the Club and a Helly Hansen $2000 spending Spree prize will be drawn on Sunday 6.00pm.

 Help Needed - Accommodation Required for Sydney Harbour Regatta
Over the weekend of the Sydney Harbour Regatta, MHYC is seeking accommodation for 2 people (husband & wife results officials), for 2 - 3 nights, Thursday 5th, Friday 6th & Saturday 7th March. Ideally, it would be great to accommodate them close to the Club (Parriwi Road or thereabouts) so they have easy access during the weekend. If you have a spare bedroom that you could offer, please contact Roger in the Sailing Office at sailing-administrator@mhyc.com.au.
 Sydney to Mooloolaba Yacht Race - Race Cancelled
Middle Harbour Yacht announced today the cancellation of the Sydney to Mooloolaba Yacht Race 2015.
MHYC Commodore John McCuaig advised the lack of entries in both the monohull and multihull divisions drove the decision not to continue planning for the race start on March 27. “It’s a disappointing outcome for both my club and for our partner, Mooloolaba Yacht Club.

 Official Launch of our Two New 420's
Thanks to our Club sponsors, LJ Hooker Seaforth and Boatmate, the new 420 boats were officially launched last week. Both boats were on the water the following day with the Redlands Teams Racing Squad and again on the weekend with the first Teams Racing Regatta with Redlands Vs. Wenona.
