Race 9 of Series 1 for the 2014-15 season will be held today, Wednesday 29th October, 2014. Please be reminded that the handicaps are count up and also handicap start is from 1330 hours. Raffle tickets will be selling post race for the fantastic Meat Tray.

Back by Popular Demand! After the success of last year, the Twilight Member Nights are back! The first one will be held tomorrow Thursday 30th October. The theme will be Oktoberfest - $5 bratwurst in a roll, with sauerkraut and salads. Rock Brewing beer tastings, prizes and live entertainment! Special membership offers for non members on the night!

MHYC Sailing Handbook
A reduced in-house version of the Sailing Handbook is now available for the new 2014/15 season. The principal information has remained the same and most Skippers may have a ‘copy’ emailed to them, if requested. Please note, that a few amendments may be required and for various other Series (Premier / SOPS / Sprints / Multihulls) supplementary Sailing Instructions will be published as separate documents.

 From Optimists to Cadets to 420s – Redlands Pathway
Every Wednesday and Thursday afternoon it can appear that the club disappears into a cloud of sails and kids. The club has up to 45 kids each afternoon, and with not much more room to move, it makes for a fun time. The reason for this sudden burst of activity on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons is due to the addition of Redlands School basing its sailing program at MHYC.

 2014 Regatta For Redkite - Boats Needed!
The Regatta for Redkite is where the SAP Ecosystem community gets together for a fun afternoon on the Harbour, to raise money for Redkite, and network with the SAP Ecosystem and Community. Since 2011, the Regatta has enabled Redkite to assist around 50 children and their families through their cancer jounrey. If any Members are able to assist by donating their boat for the Regatta on Friday 7th November, 2014, please contact Adrian Everett on 0414 417 786.
