Welcome to Middle Harbour Yacht Club's E-Newsletter. Another glorious day, albeit a windy one, here at the Club.  Don't forget our Friday afternoon opening hours of the Sandbar Cafe now from 2.30pm until 6pm.  Start your weekend by dropping into the Club for a drink on your way home from work!

Sydney City Marine Winter Series - Race 7

Another beautiful day out on Sydney Harbour for Race 6 of the Sydney City Marine Winter Series.  To view Results - click here.

Wednesday Series 4 supported by Inner Circle Rum

Race 4 of Series 4 for the 2013-14 season has been abandoned today, Wednesday 25th June, 2014, due to the weather. Race 5 will be held on Wednesday 2nd July. Please be reminded that the handicaps are count up and also handicap start is now from 1300 hours. Raffle tickets will be selling post race for the fantastic Meat Tray.

Sailing Office releases ‘Schedule of Races’ for the 2014 - 2015 Season

The MHYC Sailing Office has now released the dates of racing for next season, highlights include;
- A new revamped program for IRC boats to be known as the Premier Series
- 7 Feature Events including a bonus race with the Manly Yacht Club for ‘Block Entrants’
- A revised Club Short Series program to provide a more competitive fleet/division for competitors

Junior Sailing - Holiday Camp Bookings Open

Winter Holiday Camps begin next week. Bookings are now open for:- 
30th June- 3rd July
7th July - 10th July
Term 3 Tackers & Learn to Sail bookings are also open.

Hi everyone, Well, it looks like the ‘winter weather’ has finally arrived – and it has come with a rather chilly vengeance, and sailors are all rugging up for their races! ! Over the last couple of weeks, we have been making an effort to clean up around the Club grounds and want to particularly thank Dion from Pacific Rigging for his assistance to Matt in cleaning up the garbage and delivery bay area which is now much improved.

Mosman Foreshore Parking - The Spit - 50% discount offer available now!

Mosman Council has advised that the current foreshore parking stickers expiry date have been extended to 20th July. Online purchases for the 2014/15 stickers at a 50% discount are now available.  This offer is only valid once 100 tickets have been purchased and only available to MHYC current Members (excluding Youth Members).  The cost to Members is $160.  Click here to purchase your parking sticker.

Notice is hereby given that the 74th Annual General Meeting of Members of Middle Harbour Yacht Club will be held in the Clubhouse, Lower Parriwi Road, The Spit, Mosman, NSW 2088 on Thursday 24th July 2014 at 7:00 pm in the Harbourview Room.
