Anzac Two Up Cup - Friday 25th April
The Anzac Two Up Cup will be held at MHYC on Friday 25th April, 2014, with a Clubhouse count up start from 1230 hrs. Join us post race in the Harbourview Bar and Bistro for a fun game (or two!) of Two Up.

The fleet in this year's Auto Advantage Newcastle to Port Stephens Yacht Race were dealt a mixed bag of conditions in the annual sprint up the coast with Stephen Proud's Swish taking top honours across the line and on IRC.

A successful day on the Harbour - Kids on the Boat for Make-A-Wish Foundation
On Sunday the 6th April, the Kids on the Boat for Make-A-Wish Foundation event was held. Despite the looming clouds and eventual rain, the spirits of the children and their families could not be dampened. Setting sail from Middle Harbour Yacht Club in the morning, coping with the wet weather conditions became just another part of the fun.

Crew Member of the Year Nominations - extended to 12th April, 2014
It's that time of year again - nominations are open for Crew Member of the Year for 2013/14. This award is presented to an esteemed crew member, displaying the characteristics of a desirable MHYC Member, someone other crew members would aspire to emulate, and nominated from a yacht competing in a Series at MHYC of the Annual Pointscore Program 2013/2014. If you feel one of your crew deserves this award, please complete the nomination form and return to the Sailing Office. Nominations have now been extended and will close 1800 hours on Saturday 12th April, 2014.
MHYC Annual Prizegiving Cocktail Party - 10th May 2014
The Club's Annual Prizegiving Cocktail Party will be held on Saturday 10th May, 2014, at 6.30pm for a 7.00pm start in the Harbourview Bar. All 1st, 2nd & 3rd placegetters will be announced so bring along your crew for a celebration. $20 per person (inc. arrival drink & canapes). Dress - smart/casual.

Top Girls Dominate State Titles
MHYC was lucky enough to host the 2014 NSW 420 and 470 State Championships, in what turned out to be perfect conditions. This was the second time MHYC had run the championships, and after the last attempt being held in pouring rain, freezing conditions and 30knots plus of wind, it was welcomed by everyone to have the summery conditions.
