The Wild Oats Thursday Twilight Series continues -  Race 10 tomorrow Thursday 12th December, 2013. There will be 23 pointscore races in the Series with the final race being on 27th March 2014.

 MHYC Disabled Sailors Sail Melbourne
Notable among the large number of MHYC sailors that competed in Sail Melbourne last week were our 2 disabled sailors Greg Hyde sailing a Paralympic class 2.4 meter, and Lachlan Clear sailing in an invited class Liberty.

2013 Sail Middle Harbour International Regatta - 13th - 15th December
The 2013 regatta will take the place of the Sail Sydney regatta this year for the international 470’s, 420’s, Finns, 29ers, 49er & 49erFX classes, sailing from Friday 13 December – Sunday 15 December 2013.
Sail Middle Harbour is up to three days of high class, high adrenaline racing for all these international classes. The NSW 9er Classes will be incorporating the event with their first round of the 2013-2014 NSW 9er State Championships.

Marina works on D Arm next week
The Club wishes to advise all boat owning members with boats located on D arm, that there will be limited access on the entire length of D Arm and the cross-walk-way from C Arm, from Monday 16th December until Friday 20th December, 2013.
At present, it is proposed that new services for electrical works will be occurring on Monday 16th and Tuesday 17th. From Wednesday 18th onwards, a schedule is yet to be determined. Please contact the MHYC Office for daily updates.
Wednesday Series 2 supported by Inner Circle Rum
Series 2 for the 2013-14 season Race 2 today, Wednesday 11th December, 2013. Please be reminded that the handicaps are count up and also handicap start is now from 1330 hours. Raffle tickets will be selling post race for the fantastic Meat Tray.

No Racing at MHYC - Saturday 14th December
There is NO RACING at MHYC this Saturday 14 December as we host the Sail Middle Harbour Regatta.
The next Open/Inshore/Club Short Series event is 1 February 2014 when we have a sprint series for all divisions (2 races), but in the meantime we have a series of Feature Events for those who want to keep sailing on Saturdays:
Saturday 21 December – CHRISTMAS CUP Incorporating the VETERANS CUP and OLD FARTS DOG BOWL TROPHY
Saturday 11 January - JANUARY CUP incorporating the 2 HANDED RACE
Saturday 18 January – CHAOS and BEDLAM POINT CUPS
