 Wild Oats Thursday Twilights - 5th December
The Wild Oats Thursday Twilight Series continues - Race 9 tomorrow Thursday 5th December, 2013. There will be 23 pointscore races in the Series with the final race being on 27th March 2014.

2013 Sail Middle Harbour International Regatta - 13th - 15th December
The 2013 regatta will take the place of the Sail Sydney regatta this year for the international 470’s, 420’s, Finns, 29ers, 49er & 49erFX classes, sailing from Friday 13 December – Sunday 15 December 2013.
Sail Middle Harbour is up to three days of high class, high adrenaline racing for all these international classes. The NSW 9er Classes will be incorporating the event with their first round of the 2013-2014 NSW 9er State Championships.

Marina Extension Update
Marina Extension is all go again!
Works have recommenced on the final stage of the  marina extension with piling of D arm starting on Monday. CMS re-established their barges on Friday and began piling operation with only 6 piles remaining to be installed. Pontoon assembly is due to be completed by the end of next week with all associated services planned to be installed in time for Christmas, meaning 28 extra berths for MHYC members old and new!

J24 NSW State Titles Report
 MHYC J24 sailors did well at the 2013 NSW J24 State titles.Handicap winners were:
1st: John Crawford with Innaminka
2nd: Chris Lee on Vortex
3rd: Brett Hudson/Jeanette Thompson on Wildfire.

 Fujin Wins the Raja Muda Regatta in Malaysia
Last week, the Yacht Fujin co-owned and skippered by MHYC member Gordon Ketelbey, convincingly won its division in the Malaysian.
The Raja Muda Selangor International Regatta is a challenging offshore sailing race organised every year by the Royal Selangor Yacht Club in association with the RORC. It consists of three overnight passage races, 260 miles in total, plus 3 days of harbour racing in Penang and Langkawi. With regatta dinners almost every night, a rickshaw race and lots of opportunities to socialise, onshore activities are just as demanding as the sailing.
