 Wild Oats Thursday Twilights - 28th November
Summer is upon us! The Wild Oats Thursday Twilight Series continues - Race 8 tomorrow Thursday 28th November, 2013. There will be 23 pointscore races in the Series with the final race being on 27th March 2014.

MHYC's next Sailing Clinic on trimming sails will be presented by North Sails. A must see clinic before the SSORC and other major regattas. The clinic will be held on Wednesday 27th November, 2013, at 7.30pm. Members $10/Non Member $20.

2013 NSWIODA Team Racing Challenge
 The 2013 NSWIODA Team Racing Challenge was held at Northbridge Sailing Club over the weekend of 23-24 November. With 10 teams, representing 5 clubs putting their sailing skills, teamwork and rules knowledge to the test. The MHYC 1 team consisting of Alec Brodie, Ashleigh Coles, Otto Henry and Pia Stoner recovered from a couple of early losses to win their final 6 races straight to win the day ahead of the WSC 1 (Grace Hawtin, Jay Karney, Ryan Littlechild, Jack Littlechild) and MHYC 3 (Josh Bull, Archie Cropley, Tom Green, Guy Rosenburg). Congratulations!

2013 Sail Middle Harbour International Regatta
Welcome to the 2013 Sail Middle Harbour International Regatta on the magnificent waters of Sydney Harbour.
The 2013 regatta will take the place of the Sail Sydney regatta this year for the international 470’s, 420’s, Finns, 29ers, 49er & 49erFX classes, sailing from Friday 13 December – Sunday 15 December 2013.
Sail Middle Harbour is up to three days of high class, high adrenaline racing for all these international classes. The NSW 9er Classes will be incorporating the event with their first round of the 2013-2014 NSW 9er State Championships.

 MHYC Announced as International Clean Marina & Fish Friendly
Sydney’s Middle Harbour Yacht Club has today been accredited as a Level 3 ‘International Clean Marina’ and in addition, awarded ‘Fish Friendly’ status by the Marina Industries Association (MIA).

December Holiday Camps are Online!
 If you haven’t noticed, we have added an extra week of camps to cater for all the lucky kids who get extra holidays in December, and catering to all the unlucky parents who aren’t yet on holiday.
The Camp will run from Monday December 9th until Thursday December 12th. Drop off at 9.15am and pick up at 3.30pm. Extra care is available if you need to pick the kids up later.

 Heaven Can Wait Regatta Report
Middle Harbour Yacht Club yacht boat, Botany Access Cocomo sailed to victory in The Royal Motor Yacht Club Toronto’s “Heaven Can Wait” 24hr endurance regatta last weekend. With an impressive line-up of very competent sailors including currant Americas Cup Helmsman Nathan Outtridge, trimmer on board Team Oracle USA Kyle Langford, Paralympic gold medallist Liesl Tesch, aspiring Olympian Haylee Outtridge all present and along with all the other Lake Macquarie sailors in the race, they had a challenge ahead of them from the 11am start.
