Chaos Cup and Bedlum Point Cup Report 2013
After a record temperature on Friday we could only guess what Hughie had in store for us for the most fun Feature Race on Sydney Harbour.
Last year Hughie did not agree with the handicaps so he restarted the race at Middle Head having compressed the fleet by turning off the wind. But he lost interest and didn’t restart the wind and we had to abandon the race.
This year the forecast was for mid to high teen from the South for the wind. So a good chance of a result.
The day dawned with overcast skies and a good solid breeze. 32 yachts had entered the race and 29 started the race. The fleet was spread over 77 minutes with Stealth off first and a new yacht to MHYC Swish off last. The race had all the problems of a race of 21.5 nautical miles that takes the yachts under the Harbour Bridge as well as the Gladesville Bridge to Bedlam Point and back.

The delicious menu offerings for the Twilight Series will again consist of either casual meals from the BBQ ranging in price from $7 to $12, from Beef burger, Butter Chicken with rice and vegetables , or Vegetarian burger, to a Twilight bistro menu in the Harbourview Bar & Bistro.
