Middle Harbour Yacht Club will host the 8th edition of its popular Sydney Harbour Regatta in March and the Notice of Race is now available online at: http://www.shr.mhyc.com.au where prospective competitors can also now enter electronically.
To be held on Saturday and Sunday 9-10 March, the regatta, which brings major racing to a close for the year in NSW, attracts entries from across NSW and from interstate, bringing together club racers, state, national and world champions, along with Olympians.

 Thursday Twilights Report - Race 12
It was a beautiful sunny balmy evening for a MHYC Thursday Twilight Race 12 sail. All the stars were aligned and the boats flew around the course. It was the popular 2 beer Course 1 (East Channel, Obelisk & home) in a 13 knot ENE.

Tuesday Social Twilights - off to a flying (Spinnakers) start !!
The extreme heat experienced last night did not deter some of the Tuesday Twilighters – with the incentive to get back to the Club and the icy cold beer (and accompanying BBQ) so strong that a spinnaker was flown for the first time in the series – but as it turned out, this still did not bring the Barman home in time to “Beat the Barman“ challenge!!

Race 8: Tuesday Twilight Series, 15th January, 2013
The first race for 2013 will be Race 8 on Tuesday 15th January, 2013.
 Beach BBQ & Harbourview Bar & Bistro Open for Twilights
The delicious menu offerings for the Twilight Series will again consist of either casual meals from the BBQ ranging in price from $7 to $12, from Beef burger, Butter Chicken with rice and vegetables , or Vegetarian burger, to a Twilight bistro menu in the Harbourview Bar & Bistro. Bookings are essential for the Bistro. Please call 9969 1244 to book a table.
 Saturday Racing in January, 2013
There are no MHYC point score series races in January, however we have the January Cup – incorporating the 2 Handed Race on 12th, and the Bedlam & Chaos Cup on 19th.
The January Cup is a handicap pursuit race starting at 1300hrs with spinnaker, non spinnaker and two handed divisions if sufficient entries are received: there are alternative courses and competitors may chose to turn left or right out of Middle Harbour.
