The Leading Edge Series has commenced and continues though to Saturday 18th August, 2012. Competition commences at 1230hrs, count up pursuit racing. Clubhouse start. Spinnaker and Non-Spinnaker Series and casual entries are welcome.

Sydney Gold Coast Race
Billy Sykes was onboard "Loki" for the Sydney Gold Coast Race and recounts his experience -
Boat call was 11am for 11:30am off the dock with a great forecast for the race with the routeing software having stronger breeze off shore but more adverse current so the decision on which route for Loki would be best and when to gybe onto port to head North was the talk in our briefing that morning.

 Junior Sailing - Term 3 Sailing Program
Middle Harbour Yacht Club has begun their term 3 program with a full day training session under the eye of the clubs coaches. what seemed like perfect conditions on the way out to the training, soon began to test the sailors as the wind picked up.

Sound Championships at MHYC
The Sound Championships will be held on Sunday 26th August, 2012, at MHYC for the Optimists and 420's. The format will be 6 short sprint style races, with a presentation and BBQ at the end of the day. The first warning signal will be at 1130hrs with registration from 0830 - 1000.

First Aid Course - 12th August, 2012
Another one day First Aid Course will be held at the Club on Sunday 12th August, from 9am. There are still some places available. If interested, please email Royce Engelhardt at royce@campbellconsulting.com.au. Cost $99 per person.
