Learn to read the wind and weather with guest speaker, Ben Austin.
Ben is the current NSWIS Network coach for 29ers and previously Lasers. He has sailed Lasers for 8 years, 505's, 18' skiffs and various yachts. He also represented Australia in the 49ers at 2008 Olympics.

New Club Director
MHYC is pleased to advise that long standing member of the Club, Greg West, has been appointed to the Board to fill the vacancy created by Jack Stening’s resignation early this year. Greg brings a wealth of experience to the Board and will be Company Secretary, the role previously held by Phillip Rowe. We welcome Greg and look forward to his ongoing contribution.

Middle Harbour Yacht Club is proud to be holding the Spit Championships for both Optimists and 420's. The one day regatta is to be held on the 27th May on the water of Middle Harbour. The Championship is aiming for 6 races for the day in a sprint style event. The Notice of Race for the Spit Championships being held at MHYC this weekend, are available on the MHYC website - click here . Sailing Instructions will be available later today.
