Rolex Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race Update
Let’s all get behind Tony Levett and crew on TSA Management (Eleni) who is currently winning his division in the Sydney 38’s. Sailing .1 knot faster than the other Sydney 38’s, it is estimated that he could win by over an hour. He is half way down the Tassie Coast, so lets pray he has wind the rest of the way and up the Derwent river.
The other MHYC boat Flying Fish Arctos is also doing well and is currently in 3rd position in Division 2 PHS.
Rear Commodore Carl Crafoord navigating on Lahana finished 3rd across the line, just 6 hours behind Investec Loyal. They are currently 2nd in IRC Division 1 behind Jazz who has to get in before 16:10 to win. Jazz is just 4nm S of John Garrow Shoal, however you never know what to expect up the Derwent River.
