It was a sparkling spring day with blue skies and a north-easterly of 10 knots at start time that increased slightly as the afternoon progressed – perfect conditions for the Harbour Trek Feature Race where competitors could choose from two course variations of near identical length.

Rob Carr’s Jambo was the first Division 1 boat back to the clubhouse finish line to claim the victory, with Daguet 2 (Rob Aldis) second and Impulse (Derek Minihane) third.

Angus Clarke’s Melges 20 built a healthy lead to win Division 2 ahead of Elysium (John de Meur) and Boudicca (Shane Foley).

The next MHYC Feature Event is the Seven Islands Race on November 28, held in conjunction with the Nautilus Marine Insurance Sydney Short Ocean Racing Championship.
