Conditions were unfortunately not ideal for the first race in the Smithy’s Waterproofing Women’s Helm Twilight Series this evening with patchy rain moving across the harbour and a moderate south-easterly backing easterly and becoming flaky at start time. Thankfully the breeze picked up once the fleet was around Middle Head, the racing was fun and most finished just after sunset.

With the Women’s Helm Twilight results based on elapsed time, Kate Leeson steered Gambler to the Division 1 win, Lyn Humphreys and Cool Runnings were best in Division 2 and Kristin Kool-Clarke claimed the Division 3 prize on Kai Rani.

In the Thursday Twilight PHS Pursuit Series, the division winners were Gambler (Kate Leeson) Div 1, Cool Runnings (Lyn Humphreys) Div 2, Horizon 3 (Graham Raspass) Div 3 and Single Malt (Peter Gilliland) Div 4.
