Active Kids Vouchers
The NSW Government is helping kids get active with the new Active Kids program and Australian Sailing is an approved provider. Parents, guardians and carers can apply for a voucher valued up to $50per calendar year for each school-enrolled child. The voucher may be used with an approved activity provider for registration, participation and membership costs for sport, fitness and active recreation activities. Apply for your voucher online here

If you wish to use your voucher as part payment for your childs course please enter the discount code 'activekids' on registration in the Discounts tab. $50will automatically be taken off the course fees. Junior Sailing - Tackers
Sailing is the perfect way to get children out in the fresh air, learning a new skill, meeting new friends and participating in a satisfying and fulfilling sport that can be done in a team or as an individual. MHYC offers a simple training pathway through the Australian Sailing endorsed Tackers program. All our courses are delivered by experienced accredited instructors.

Tackers 1This is the beginning of the adventure. There is a big emphasis is on fun with our Tackers 1 kids. Launching from the clubs beautiful private beach classes venture out to the surrounding beauty of Middle Harbour, where sailing and games raise the confidece of our youngsters. Plenty of fresh air and exercise to be enjoyed.

Tackers 2Tackers 2 builds on the fun and skills learnt in Tackers 1. Students are ancouraged to sail single handed with lots of support, supervision and encouragement from the Instructor and Assistant Instructors.

Tackers 3Tackers 3 is a fun and challenging course with the final aim for kids to be able to launch, sail to a course and return totally independantly. good skills and technique are a must for graduating tackers 3.
