A record fleet of 212 paddlers took to the water for the today’s Spit to Zoo, the final round of the Paddle NSW Harbour Series hosted by Middle Harbour Yacht Club.
A moderate north westerly increased to a fresh westerly as the back markers finished the longer Spit to Zoo course of 16km. 150 paddlers took on the long course while 62 chose the shorter course of two laps around Middle Harbour.
Line honors winners for the long course were Luke Horder (M) and Jemma Smith (F). For the short course it was Bryan & Matthew Pearson (M) and Isabella Dobozy (F). To view the overall and divisional results - click here
Well done to Paddle NSW Race Director Mike Lieberman, Paddle NSW Event Coordinator Jeremy Spear and the MHYC Race Management Team who set the course and provided on-water safety support.
